Welcome to Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. It is my pleasure to share some positive Real Estate news.The average sales price for a single family home in the City of Ft. Collins had an increase over the last year of 2.2% with the median price of $237,184. The average days on market for these homes came in at 116 days. This information comes directly for IRES multiple listing service, as of December 31, 2011.
For January of 2012, the average sales price has been $237,000 with 91 sales and the average days on the market coming in at 143 days.
In the past Northern Colorado has been voted by Money Magazine, as one of the top 10 cities to live. We have low crime, great schools, parks and climate. If you love the outdoors, this is the place to be. US News & World Report had a recent article on top 10 Housing Markets For The Next 10 years and Fort Collins was there.
CNNMoney.com in the past voted Ft. Collins #2 in America's best small cities. AARP has written about what a great place Fort Collins is for senior living.
